Chris visited Entebbe, Uganda in 2012 and his life was changed forever. He and a few men started a group called “Shine On Entebbe” to raise awareness and funding for an impoverished people group in Uganda. In 2016 Chris planned, organized, and led a team of 15 skilled tradesmen to do many much needed improvements to a school, medical clinic, and farm in Entebbe. By the grace of God they successfully completed the installation of a new septic field, 2 solar powered well pumps, a solar panel system, new electrical wiring, and upgrades to a bathroom and shower facility. Chris continues to donate to the work in Uganda.
Chris has also completed numerous renovations for families in need locally. Chris gladly did sewer and structural repairs for a single mother whose daughter had just been diagnosed with cancer. He helped renovate a kitchen for a father recently diagnosed with cancer. In 2016 Chris did a full 1st floor gut and rebuild including major structural repairs and a kitchen for a single woman whose home had flooded.
