We hired Shine On Custom Builders as the General Contractor to remodel our Kitchen, Laundry Room, Buddy Bath, and our In-Law Bathroom. Chris oversaw the permitting, the subs and the day-to-day management of the project until completed. Terrific job - the before and after pictures speak for themselves. We recently completed a renovation of our master bedroom, master bathroom, walk in closet and office with Chris as our construction manager. Chris was a pleasure to work with – he was courteous, prompt to respond and communicated updates and subcontractor scheduling frequently. Chris was also very attentive to detail, worked well with other subcontractors, kept the workflow well-coordinated and the site clean at end of each day. Last spring we completed renovations to our carriage home in Fort Myers under the leadership of Chris Barnhart. In the past my husband and I have successfully completed new construction on six homes and major renovations on two homes and four townhouses. We speak from experience when we say that working with Chris has been a very enjoyable and satisfying experience. During the renovations we were absent from the job site for a majority of the time. Chris was in daily communication with us, sending pictures and updates on the progress. More importantly he was very responsive to any questions we had. I recently remodeled my house. Chris Barnhart is the owner of Shine On Custom Builders. He is a general contractor and worked closely with my designer. He listened to my ideas and communicated with the numerous subcontractors to ensure everything was done the way I wanted. One of his biggest skills is juggling the schedule with all the subcontractors so everything was done timely and efficiently. He estimated the job would take 4 months and they finished with time to spare!  I was able to move back into my house early. Chris frequently came to review the jobs as each contractor worked. He often saw things that needed to be done and he would take care of them himself. This attention to detail helped keep everything on track. Sometimes, he needed to recall a subcontractor for issues that were revealed unexpectedly. He ensured this did not disrupt the rest of the work and got the work done seamlessly. Chris Barnhart remodeled my kitchen in 2016 and I am still getting compliments today! It was an old house and I had big dreams - and Chris was able to make my 1930's house with a 1970's kitchen enter into the 21st Century in a way that seamlessly married the old with the new. He cares about details and quality - and was careful to always get it right. Chris listened, asked great questions, and made smart suggestions that ensured I had the actual and true end result that I was dreaming of. Even now, 8 years later, I wouldn't change a thing and my kitchen is as sound and as put together as day 1. When people compliment my kitchen I say, "Thank you, it was all Chris!"
